Poem I guess
Chicago is too big to wonder about
With such a small mind
filled with thoughts the scent of burning leaves
and hands that grip too tightly
on the necks of milk bottles
and feet that walk on railroad tracks
And lips that bite through cigarettes
And smiles more often than not
light fires
far too big
to see
or to be left alone inside
