Day 81

This one is on time and I should have been doing a whole lot of different things today and there was a lot of things at Story week I could have done, but I ended up having a two hour conversation with my landlord about life. My mother has been going through a tough time, he told me to write about it. Here's a little something.

Minus: Having your thyroid removed
Plus: You don't have cancer

Minus: The high school job nearly forced you to resign
Plus: You can find what truly is meaningful to you and work towards it

Minus: Maddie and I aren't at home.
Plus: We are never farther away than a telephone call

Minus: Your father is in failing health.
Plus: You have been there for him through all of it. I know, I've seen how much you care about him.

Minus: Your sister is in failing health
Plus: Karen will always have you, and it doesn't matter if she's in Florida or not. You are sisters.

Minus: You aren't sure where you are in the world
Plus: Think of how happy you'll be when you figure it all out

Minus: Your financial and medical future are uncertain at the moment
Plus: Your family will support you every step of the way.

Minus: Its more than difficult to be social in Harvard, IL
Plus: You are never too old to make friends, and with your time you can invest in yourself and getting to know others.

Minus: Jim is a dirtbag
Plus: Soon the ordeal will be worked out, your son will see to that.

Minus: You think you are bothering your children with your problems
Plus: Your children love you and want to help you. Your son wants only the best for you.
